I hardly go out for New Year Eve Countdown but this year I am stuck at work for the Countdown. It was fun preparing for the event and helping out :) Best part is back stage access to snap pictures with those who are performing :)

Elaine's Birthday

We try our best to celebrate our friend's birthday every year and this time, it is Elaine's birthday. It was a small gathering where me, King, Rainbow, Woon Shen, Kean Leng and Jason came. Elaine had a choice of Sushi Zanmai or TGIF. I inform her that Sushi Zanmai might have a long queue at that time. So she left it to King to check if TGIF is packed.

Lucky it is King who did the arrangement :) We went and had a peaceful dinner till another table had a birthday person too and the TGIF crew was singing a happy birthday song for that person. Elaine warn us not to do it and we kept quiet as she say she is going to kill whoever make that arrangement. Thank goodness I didn't :) but not for King.

After dinner, the crew came over with a Brownie and ice-cream :) She was asked to either give a 10 mins speech or sing a song which is not those nursery rhythm. After a long wait, they gave her another challenge which is to dig 2 cherries out from a plate of cream. Before she can say anything, it was decided for her to take the challenge instead. We then had fun looking at her dig the cherry out and when she was about to get the last cherry out, she nearly have her face smash in the cream.

The crew then clapped and sang her a birthday song. She then open her present but there is no surprise as I asked her what she want. Hahaha...Me, King and Woon Shen got her a Thomas Sabo charm.

Christmas Gift Exchange with Convent Friends

It is that time of the year again and we had our gathering at Mid Valley. We arrange to have lunch at Reminiece followed by gift exchange.

I went there at about 10.15am to ensure I get a parking and also have enough time to take pictures of the Christmas decoration there. But I was wrong. The place was already pack and I had a tough time taking pictures as everyone else was there for the same reason. I was at it for an hour plus before Li Ing and Elizabeth reach. Then we went on another round of photo sessions with the decoration.

At about 12noon, we head off to Reminiece to wait for the others. Once all have arrive, we order our food. It is Chinese style and taste good. We had the set meal for a group of 4 where we have an appetizer, 4 main dishes, drinks and desserts.

After we are done with our meal, we started our gift ex-change session. We each draw lots on whose present we are to receive. Once we have all draw a name, we then start exchanging presents and opening our presents. It was fun opening our presents as we set a budget of RM10 for the gift.

I went to 1 Utama with Chew Yee to shop for groceries. I was also there to take some pictures of the Christmas decoration. We stop by and had lunch at New York New York and I can say taste good.

I ordered Mushroom Cappuccino, Spagetti Mushroom Alfredo and Camomile Tea while Chew Yee had Spagetti Alio Olio with Mushroom and Ultra Rich Hot Chocolate.

Malacca Trip

It has been a long time when I last went to Malacca with my family. We finally went down in early December in conjunction with my sister's birthday. (Pls note our family holiday is normally during her birthday :)) At the same time, we tried to visit my mum's aunts and uncles there :)

When we arrive, we look for a hotel to stay for a night. Hahaha...according to my dad, we don't need to book as there would be rooms available at any hotel. Boy was he wrong. The hotels are mostly booked but we manage to get a room at Bayview Hotel. After settling the room, we head out to look for goodies to eat with my mum leading the way. We walk to an alley and to the place where my mum used to go for Ice Kacang and Buns.

After a nice meal, we walk over to the river side and snap some photos before heading back to the hotel. Along the way back to the hotel, we stop at the bakery where my parents ordered their wedding cake many years back. They were so happy to go to the shop :)

Once back at the hotel, my mum make dinner arrangements with her aunts and uncles and we head off to meet them at their place. So happen, my mum's cousin was back as she was having her summer break. We chat a while then head off for dinner at Bei Zhan. Oh my. I read reviews about the place but didn't know I have a chance to finally eat there. The place setting was beautiful and the food was delicious. I was happy as my mum got to meet up with her aunts and have a family picture taken after so many years. Yes, my mum is working up north while her relatives are down south at Malacca.

After dinner, we went to Dataran Pahlawan and also Jongker Street. We bought some stuffs and took pictures as usual. When we reach back to the hotel, we head down to the hotel coffee house for supper as we have free coupons :) My dad ordered a plate of Tuna sandwiches while we each ordered drinks. After that we call it a night.

The next day, we woke up early and head to not sure where is that area for the famous fish ball noodles. We haven't ate it for so long but finally have a chance to eat it. After breakfast, we head back to Jongker Street to take more photos and have Durian cendol :) Yummy. Other than that, we had Amoy Yuan Yang Waffles. It looks like those dessert in Japan.

I went and watch this at MBO, Harbour Place Mall, Klang. It was after work and I went with Alyssa to watch this movie. It was nice and I was surprise at the amount of things cover in part 1. It was like nearly the whole book.

I was laughing continuously in the cinema at the funny part and Alyssa had a shock of her life as I was laughing loudly in the cinema. Hahaha...but that is how I watch movie. If it is funny, I would laugh :) Overall, I would give it a good rating compare to the previous Harry Potter movie which are too draggy. But this one is good :)

He's Beautiful

I am also crazy over this drama, He's Beautiful. Jang Keun-Suk is so cute :) He maybe weird with eyeliner but his character just make me go head over heels in love with him :)

This show is about AN Jell, a pop group recruiting a new member Mi Nam. But Mi Nam was in US for treatment. Mi Nam have a twin sister who looks identical to him. His manager, Manager Ma, went to look for Mi Nam's twin sister, Mi Nyu to replace him for the time being. Mi Nyu is a sister who plans to be a full pledge Nun in Rome. Unfortunately her plan didn't go accordingly so she just went with Manager Ma to pretend to be Mi Nam.

On the first day after the introduction of Mi Nam in the group, Tae Kyung found out about Mi Nyu and threaten to tell their manager but she manage to convince him otherwise. Along the way, Shin Woo, another AN Jell member found out about her identity as well. Many things happen that time till all the group members know her true identity. When that happen, all of them tried their best to protect her and pervent their manager, President Ahn from knowing her identity till the real Mi Nam came back.

Along the way, Shin Woo, Tae Kyung and Jeremy fell in love with her. But in the end she choose Tae Kyung but they too encounter obstacles due to Tae Kyung's mother. In the end, Tae Kyung overcome his own pain and chase after Mi Nyu and Mi Nyu accepted him.

Still find the show funny and romantic. Just like how Tae Kyung character :)

Oh! My Lady Drama

I was recently crazy over this Korean Drama. It was showing at 8TV and I got so hooked up. Si Won is so cool and handsome. This show is about Gae Hwa who doesn't have a permenant job trying to make ends meet. She has a daughter but do not have a place to stay when her landlady threw her out from their rented room. She has to place her daughter under her ex-husband's care while she look for a permanent employment.

She got a job offer from entertainment company who was trying to get Min Woo to star in their musical. At that time, Min Woo's ex-gf who had their daughter disappear and dump their daughter to him. Min Woo who has no idea how to take care of his daughter and do not want to have a daughter as his popularity as a singer and artist was getting tremendous support from his fans. Gae Hwa manage to convince him to act in the musical in return helps him to take care of his daughter and stay at his place.

It is comical how both Gae Hwa and Min Woo live together as they encounter different issues and also weird situation. In the end, romance spark and can be said a happy ending :) It is just funny and for me, heart warming drama to watch :)

Kean leng's Birthday '10

I went over to Kean Leng's place for his birthday celebration and also for the launch of XBox Kinect at his place. King bought a New York Cheese Cake for Kean Leng :)

After eating the cake, we head to the living room for the launch of Kinect XBox. When I say launch, it means opening ceremony for his Kinect and not for Microsoft Kinect :) We had fun testing and playing the Kinect :)

MUFY November Gathering '10

Finally we can have Kean Leng around when Merlye is in town. Unfortunately, there are some who can't make it also. This round only Merlye, me, Lik Chen, Felix, Kean Leng, Jason and Senan met up at Pavillion.

Initially we decided to eat at the food court but later move to Crystal Jade Restaurant for dinner. Kean Leng was the lead to order and we just ate what was being served :) Dinner was delicious as we ate and catch up on each other's activities.

At the end, Kean Leng treat all of us for dinner. It was like his early birthday celebration with friends :) Thank you Kean Leng :)

Hooi Khim's Wedding

Hooi Khim got married on the 13 November 2010. It was a beautiful ceremony. I went to her brother's house where she awaits her husband-to-be to arrive with Li Chen. When we arrived, she introduce us to her other friends who would be her "Chi-Mui's". Together we plan what we are going to play on the guys.

We prepared the 2 different juices where one is bitter and one is sour. Since we need the 4 flavours, the one missing are sweet and spicy. For spicy, we then crush biscuits and mix "Chilli Padi" in the crush biscuit while the sweet we use "Kan Choi" mix with honey. Other than that, we prepare a letter where he has to write the 10 commandments to shower his bride with love everyday. We also prepared additional bitter juice for pumping purposes and also more biscuits to make them form alphabets with.

As the time got nearer to when the groom is to arrive, we check that everything is in place and hide the bride's room key inside a bucket of ice. When the groom and his "Heng-Tai's" arrive, the fun and game starts. First they drank the juice out of the milk bottle and finish the plate of spicy biscuits. We regret for going easy on the spicy biscuits as there was no effect on the guys =.= First stage finish. Second stage. Push ups and finishing the cup of bitter juice as they do push ups. The groom instead would sing a song to the bride and have his ears clip with clothes pegs. When one of the guys finish the drink, a peg would be pull off the ear.

Second stage done. Third stage. Bit the word, "I love you, HK" using biscuits. They did a good job after all. Third stage done. Fourth stage. To write the 10 commandments on what he is to do to shower his love to his wife everyday. Once done, the last stage. His heng-tai are to use their feet to dig in the bucket of ice for the room key :) Unfortunately they cheated. They gave us a nice big red packet to use their hands to get the key :) Lucky us :)

Finally the groom meets the bride :) It was then the tea ceremony then head off to the groom's place for the tea ceremony with the groom's family :) It was a hectic day as once the ceremony is done, they have to prepare to head to Putrajaya for their Garden Ceremony where they do their registration. Unfortunately, I got lost while finding Equatorial, Bangi and I miss the ceremony but I manage to make it for the dinner :)

I was touch to see a high school picture of me, her, Li Chen and Mei Cheng being shown during the slide show of her younger days before meeting her husband. It brings back a lot of good memories. Hope she make more wonderful memories with her husband and make plenty of babies :)

Fong Lye at Sunway Pyramid

Chew Yee called me out for dinner with Janet one night. We went to pyramid but was undecided where to eat and fong Lye just opened in Pyramid not that long ago. We then decided to go and have a try.

The food was good for the portion is big. Unfortunately, their sweet potato came in a basket which Chew Yee went and play with it till all the sweet potato fell out of the basket @.@ I think due to that, they do not serve the sweet potato with the basket @.@

This is the first time I celebrated Halloween in a custom. I rush back after work and head off to Jason's place. I didn't have any custom in mind but Senan and Jason helped me in making one. Yes, I was dress like a cat =.=

It was a fun night. We had BBQ where Jason and Vincent manage the grill. I think there was someone else who manage the grill but I forgot who. After dinner, we head inside and had fun with Guitar Hero on the XBox.

As usual, we sang and play and just before we head off, we played Werewolve. It is a card game and it was fun. It was a good night.

Deepavali Celebration

I was invited to Jason's friend's house for Deepavali. I went with Jason and Felix and met other new friends. After visiting his friend and had a jolly good lunch, we head off to our next stop, Cyber Cafe at Asia Cafe for some gaming session.

After our gaming session, we went to Lukas house while waiting or the others to arrive to go for Meeples. When everyone arrive, we head off for dinner at SS15 then to Meeples. Unfortunately, Meeples was full so we head back to Lukas place and play poker. As the night grew late, we head home.

Cousin's Frank's Wedding

On the 2 October 2010, I got a new cousin sister :) My cousin Frank got married on this date :) It was held in Penang so I flew in to Penang by AirAsia on 2 Oct morning. Eventhough the flight is at 6.45am, there are a lot of people in LCCT at that hour.

When I reach Penang, I had McDonald's breakfast with my sister who pick me from the airport. After that, I head back to her place to get ready for the morning ceremony. While the groom, who is my cousin went out to pick the bride, I took some photos at his place :)

When the bride and groom arrive, there was so many people suddenly. After the ceremony, they had their photo sessions. Little did I know that they are mostly from Asia Work. They are an energetic group of people but in my opinion too open that they didn't realize that they have offended some who follow the custom firmly. In another word, it was like putting the family to shame.

I didn't really enjoy my time after that. Maybe I have high expectation on people, but there was this one girl who I have to call "Dumb Blonde" when she isn't blonde. To not know what to say in a wedding and give wrong impression to others is not good. She may have other meaning but have to remember there are people who take the word literally and not see there is another meaning to it.

I am happy my cousin found his soulmate to share his life with.

I feel honor to be invited to Alexis 21st birthday ^_^ She has a big celebration where she invited her friends and family friends. I arrive late but when I reach there, the others have started drinking. Hmmm....so I just get some food and join in. Once everyone is there, the big birthday cake was presented and she look beautiful and cute in front of the cake :) She was excited like a little girl celebrating her first birthday.

After the cake cutting ceremony, it was photo session before back to more food and drinks. It was till later, everyone gather inside her house and look at her as she eagerly open all her birthday presents :)

Godiva Chocolates

It is one of those public holidays when KL traffic is close to zero. After an early dinner, Chew Yee suddenly have this craving for Godiva Hot Chocolate. Little did we know that KLCC branch do not have hot chocolate but ice blend only. We didn't know that Pavillion has one branch and it serves hot chocolate. Anyway, we ordered our ice blend chocolate and relax at their small lounge area. But their chocolates just tempt us to buy some :)

Cousin's Surprise Visit

It was my cousin's sudden visit in August last year and it was only for a day. Reason? It is his stop before flying to Thailand with his friend for his holiday. After that, he would stop by Malaysia again for a night before heading back to Australia. It was a limited time but it was a fun day.

I pick him and his friend from Masjid Jamek and meet up with my parents in the Gardens. It was so happen that they flew in on a Saturday :) After shopping for a while, we head to Canton-i for dinner. We order a variety of food when we were there.

After dinner I drop them back to their hotel for a good night rest. The next day we met up at KLCC before sending them off to LCCT to take the flight to Thailand. We had Madam Kwam's at KLCC where my cousin finally got to eat his Fried Kuey Teow :) He loves that dish a lot and also started to like Egg Tarts and Barley drink.

When they came back from Thailand, I pick them up at Subang airport with Chew Yee and head to 1 Utama to eat dinner. We had Paparich and my cousin again had his Fried Kuey Teow and Egg Tart. Unfortunately the egg tart at Paparich is not as nice as the one in Canton-i. After dinner, I drop them at the hotel for a night rest. The following day I drop them off at the airport where they took their flight back to their respective country where my cousin flew back to Australia and his friend flew back to Austria.

A visit to Pasta de Gohan, Sunway Pyramid with friends. I have visited the place twice where once it was with Chew Yee and Natalie while another time with Darren and Chew Yee.

They have this special menu where is it RM19.90 for 2 dish. One is the main pasta while the other is the small side dish. The portion may look small but once you are done with the whole set, you would be bloated. There are also a lot of variety of Pasta :) Here are some pictures of what we ate there.

Another out-dated post on a dinner outing. I met up with Bernard for dinner and decided to head to Frames, Pyramid. It is a new outlet that time and we decided to try the food there. It turn out the food is nice and the environment is just lovely. It is a nice place to eat and chill :) Price wise, it is reasonable and not to pricey.

Li Ing's Birthday

This is way back-dated post. I join Elizabeth and Sheng Yih in celebrating Li Ing's birthday in August last year at The Lobsterman Restaurant in SS2, Petaling Jaya. Yes I know this like 6 months ago post.

Anyway, we didn't do much but meet up in The Lobsterman Restaurant for dinner. We had raw oyster for appetizer followed by a salad and also a 800gm Lobster cooked in Italian style if not mistaken.

This is actually my first time eating raw oyster and also I think the second time eating Lobster. Verdict: I'm not a seafood lover :) Hahaha...I do not know how to appreciate the food so I can't really judge if the food was good.

After a nice dinner, we head off to Laundry@The Curve for a drink and to listen to a band where the drummer is Sheng Yih's friend. As the night grow older, we head back to rest as it is a working day the next day.

High School Best Friends Gathering '10

It is like a tradition that me and my high school best friends try our best to meet up at least once a year. It is hard as one would be in Singapore, one in Subang, one in Wangsa Maju or Puchong at that time (currently in Selayang) while one more would be in Kota Damansara. Even for us who are around KL, it is hard to meet due to work schedule and also personal commitments. But at least we try to meet individually whenever possible.

This was one of the gathering when Li Chen is back in town and Hooi Khim's wedding is approaching. One of the reason we met up was, Li Chen is in town and also to look at Hooi Khim's wedding pictures :) We had dinner at Chili's, Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang. It was a fun night out to catch up and gossip a bit :) Unfortunately, I was too busy taking pictures of the food that I forgot to take a group picture @.@

It isn't one of those famous seafood restaurant in Klang but it was delicious. I was just around the neighbourhood after visiting Harbour Place Mall or also known as MBO Klang and decided to eat some yummy seafood before heading back. A friend told me somewhere at Pandamaran I can get nice seafood so I just went to one of the seafood restaurant there.

I visited Klang Seafood Restaurant at Pandamaran with my family and it was delicious. I'm not sure if there are better ones but this one is good enough for me to fill my rumbling tummy. I had Lala Soup, Salted Egg Fried Crab, Steam Code Fish and Fried Grass Noodles.

First Time to Spa

Firstly I have to thank my boss for giving me my half day leave due to Chinese New Year. Due to that, I make appointment with Mandara Spa in Sunway Resort Spa for a nice Balinese massage and Facial spa. I went with Melanie for this self pampering event ^_^

The location of the Spa is at 5 floor of the Resort and it is situated with the Villas. Very nice place and the environment was relaxing. I had my massage first followed by my facial. It is my first time by the way so I have no expectation. To me, this is real good. The massage was good but I can't remember about the face spa as I fell asleep =.= I know I'm a joker for I can fall asleep due to facial spa and not the massage =.=

After the treatment, I felt so relax and relief from stress. I'm planning for my second round before the end of this month. I have to thank Sunway group for giving their staff a good discount for this treatment ^_^

After Kuang came to pick up Melanie, I bought KFC for dinner. As I head out of Pyramid, I got a cab to go home. The traffic out of pyramid was horrible. I think it is due to last minute shopping and also rushing to travel back to their respective hometown. The cab driver made me think that it is the end of the world for me. The way he drive, I'm thankful I'm still alive. It was a horrible experience and I hope I won't get into a cab which driver drives so dangerously.

This movie is due to be out next week in conjunction to Chinese New Year but Tommy won 4 tickets to watch the premier in Midvalley ^_^ The other 2 people who went with us was Nicholas and Noeleen. It is nice to meet up with Noeleen and hang out for I haven't been out with her for AGES!!!

Haha...we went there and have dinner at the food court. Finally, after so long, I manage to lay my hands on some Japanese food. I do miss eating in Sushi Zanmai :( Planning to go there eat with colleagues if have the chance. After dinner, we headed to the cinema to watch the movie.

Since it is not release yet, it is not fair for me to reveal the story. Overall it is a good action movie as you know Jacky Chan is acting in it ^_^ You can also expect to see behind the scene shots at the credit. There were a lot of parts which is funny and I can remember Noeleen laughing so loud beside me ^_^

On the other hand, Tommy as usual tries to frighten me =.= But luckily I didn't scream around the mall today ^_^ But thank goodness he doesn't know I'm afraid of the dark lately. I have to sleep with my lights on as I opened a link at night where there was this scary picture. So I'm scare of the dark recently. Hopefully I get over it soon.

Back to the movie, there are lessons shown too. The funniest is Jacky Chan who keeps mentioning about what his father told him when he was young ^_^ It actually reminds me of my dad as he does that often to me ^_^ I do not know what else to mention as it is not out and it isn't fair to reveal all out =.= But the ending, we can say sad, heroic or etc. Hehe...Hope all of you would enjoy the movie as much as I did.

Last but not least, I have to thank Nicholas for he found a song which I have been hunting for and pass the song to me. Thank you Nicholas!!!

Too many unhappy things happen in the year 2010. There are some that reminds me back of the past, but now there are more things adding to it. Life is harsh, life is miserable for me, but I believe, if I make myself think that life is miserable, I'm drowning myself to depression and would not come back but *SNAP* like what something nearly happen a few years back.

About a week ago, I lost someone who is precious to me who is my grandmother. She was my strength to pull through all hard times. Knowing that she is here, I will work hard to achieve my promises to her. But all I manage was to let her see me graduate and bought a camera to take plenty of her pictures. There was one more wish I had, which it to find that right person and introduce him to her. But that would never happen now.

I'm still hurting now even after crying all out. I still ask her at times, why did you leave me? I haven't found the right person, how could you just leave me? I know I'm selfish to think like this. I'm just totally lost. I try my best instead now to make it up to T and make him happy, but to him, I'm just making his life miserable. How else can I help him when I try my best to put a happy face? What else am I to do when he gets angry and I spoil his mood when I try to be funny to him? Just tell me?

Why is this year such a bad start? Finally I had to say out one of the secrets that's been eating me up. I lost my car. It would be shocked. I do know my relatives would read this but eventually I can't hide this much longer. I had an accident where I was not the driver. I allowed someone to drive my car (I do apologize as I'm still protecting this person and not mentioning his name) but he lost control of the car and crash the car. The entire front half was gone. The engine block was not spared as its case have a crack. I, who was sitting at the back left was thrown to the front middle where I hit my head hard on the rear mirror and broke it off the ceiling. Yes, I didn't wear my seat belt.

I can now say that I haven't been driving my car to work like how I pretend to. My car is not in the workshop to be repaired. It is in a workshop alright but to claim total lost. There are many times I do hope that I just died in the crash instead. I just do not want to deal with all these matters anymore. To lost someone dear to me is bad enough, but to have to try to please and make T happy, I give up. I do not know what to do to please him anymore. If I'm dead, he would be happier that I do not make his life miserable. That is all I can think of now.

I do know I'm sliding into slide depression and I'm trying hard to pull myself back but I just do not have the energy anymore. My source of strength is not here with me and I do wish that I can just go and be with her and my other grandparents.

Bad Start for a New Year

Everyone would start their new year in a happy tone. Unfortunately, this year I start with a bad one. I let myself be haunted by my happy memories which now doesn't help my situation much. I let myself be carried back to the month of March 2009 where I first met this person. I'm amaze how I can remember how everything was when I normally can't remember how I met my other friends.

It was there in Sunway Pyramid Arcade where I just started playing Para-Para Paradise with a friend. He then came and approach my friend to teach him how to score. Then another friend was not happy as she was not taught. In the end she was taught too and due to her asking for his number, I went to ask for his number but to be told by my friend that she do not want his number. Let's give a name to this guy. I shall refer to him as T.

After taking T's number, I didn't call him but he message me in Friendster to say he has found me. We then exchange message in Friendster for just a few messages and I got tired of checking if I have a new message in Friendster and asked for his MSN. It was then we chat all the time. Day and night on MSN and also calling and sms-ing. Time flies and little did I know I was falling slowly for him. I can say this is not a good thing at all. It seems beautiful at that moment but now I do not know. I feel like I shouldn't have done that.

All the hurt is there and it is greater now from all my previous history of falling for a guy before he falls for me. To keep him by my side, I always go out with him and do everything together till I can even show a jealous and black face when he treats other girls better. That was the turn off about me. Things didn't go any better but worst from there. Whatever I did in the past can't be forgotten. It is always being brought up. I just do not know what to do.

The other bad thing is, I'm keeping a secret that is eating on me. This secret can make people see an incident in a different manner and not let me eat myself up by holding full blame on an event. What am I to do? Worst, another incident happen and I got my family angry with me for covering and protecting him. Soon if my friends know, I will get another round of question where they would ask, " Is it worth it to protect him. What has he ever done for me? How has he make you happy?" How am I to cover that? Even a stranger when he looked into my eyes and can see sorrows in my eyes.

Am I torturing myself to still like him after all these? Why can't I let go? Even when he is falling for someone else at this moment and that person do not know how he is but thinks he is a very sweet and good guy, what am I to do? I just do not know. All I know I have started my new year badly and things are going that way as I can't pull myself together but let myself sink in depression.

The Box

This is a disappointment movie =.= Tommy went for the premier of New Moon with Sandy while I went to watch The Box with Eun, Jia Yi, Tony and Stephie.

It seems like a short story that is being drag long. The ending is like an infinite loop =.= You get a box, you can choose to press the button or not. If you press it, you get 1 million dollar but someone will be killed. If you do not press the button in 24 hours, you do not get the money but you spare someone's life.

How the person is killed, you have 2 choices, the person who press the button's partner is to pull the trigger on him/her or have their child suffer. But I think what the message it want to convey is not to have greed towards money for the ending is not good.

Poker King

This is a Chinese movie but it is full of laughs. It is mostly about Jack who is a poker king in the cyber world. He was called back by Uno for Jack's father has died. Jack is like a puppet where he do not need to do anything and Uno would be the one earning the money for Jack's late father.

Jack went to suggest a poker competition to meet his dream girl but was humiliated as he lost out in the first round. He then lost all him money to Uno when he decided to challenge him in a game of poker to take over his father's company. When he was on the streets, he learn a lot and also learn the real way of playing poker in real life.

In the end, he won Uno in an international competition to be the King of Poker and he too got his girl who is a girl who help him out during his hard-times.

Astro Boy

This is mainly for kids but I feel there are some hidden meaning in the movie. Tommy won 4 passes to watch Astro Boy. I went with him and his other 2 friends to 1 Utama to watch it. The animations were good.

The whole movie was like in the futuristic set-up and quite nice graphics. There is not much of a story line besides the normal cartoon where he is the hero and he save everyone ^_^ But what I like most is the part on how Astro boy was invented by the scientist to look and behave exactly like his son, Toby. Astro was created to replace Toby who died during one of his failed experiment. It is at this part where I learn that, there is no one who can replace who you are even if you can invent something that look and act exactly like you. We are all unique and no matter how much the other person can imitate us, he/she is a totally different person.

It also made me realize, we as humans, we can imitate anyone and be influence by anything. We can deceive anyone we want and only we ourselves would know about it. But there are some who are unfortunate as they have the look where anyone can used them and do not bother whether that person would end up being hurt or not. This is a fact on what is happening in today's world.

This is a long overdue post =.= I went to watch it somewhere in November when it was release. It is a good movie. I was surprise that the tickets were sold out for the next 2 weeks after I went to watch. I can rate it as a very good movie. The story is about the world is about to end. It was like the government's top secret project where everyone play their role to save everyone's life on earth.

Unfortunately, like all movies, everything has been brought forward as no one can predict what our daily activities can effect the earth's magnetic core. The magnetic core began to shift before the estimated date and the world leaders are forced to announce what is about to happen. It also shows that money can buy anything where the rich and powerful people are the one who can get the pass to save their life.

Besides that, it also shows that the saying, "If there is a will, there is a way" does motivates a person to achieve things that they can never imagine. Not to forget that, when you love a person, you would do anything to ensure that they are safe. At times, for them to be safe, you are willing to sacrifice your own life for them. There is also another side of the story that greed does kill a person in a very painful manner.

Overall, the movie does shows different characters of people there are in this world where those who are good and humble are the ones minorities. But is it true that they are the losers as they are being taken advantage of their kindness and good heart? I do wonder, how the world would change after this movie. But I believe, nothing would change as we expect changes for we are waiting for the change to happen and not make the change. Some of us would expect to see results immediately but changes takes time and won't happen instantly. If it does happen instantly, it wouldn't last long as the change was made just for that short time.
