My Aunt's Fracture Ankle

My aunt had a fall last Friday during her Team Building programme. I heard she was trying to be Tarzan and swing on the rope. When she jump off the rope, she landed wrongly and fracture her ankle. It isn't really a fracture but a crack. She has to bandage her ankle for the next 6 weeks till it recovers.

For the mean time, she needs some help. Who else better to call other then me, the poor victim :( I have to help her during her baths, where I close my eyes and pass her shampoo and soap, and also redoing her bandages. So far I did a pretty good job I would say. I just can't believe I can do some nursing also ^_^

My Close Friend's Wedding

Today, the 9th June 2007, is the first time I was lost in words. It is my close friend, Merlye Pan's wedding. I am very happy for her and I do not know how to congratulate her more other than wish her eternal happiness and may their love grows each passing day.

She called me when I was still sleeping to tell me she is getting married and asked me to be her bride's maid. I was surprised. She has told me she is so-called married to him but not officially since the beginning of the year. I thought I was dreaming when they finally choose a day to tie the knot. After that, I contacted our friends about it who shared the joy for her happiness.

I went over to her place a night before her wedding. I met her soon-to-be husband, Geoffrey's friends. They are very fun to chat with and they are a fun group of people. When the guys are went back to their hotel, it was left with the girls for our girls night. We didn't do much as we were both tired. We just hang out and catch up on each other and have a good chat till we both fell asleep.

The next morning we woke up early as there were a lot for her to prepare. It was exciting. As the groom arrived, all the car honks were honking. It was then all of us got excited. The bride was nervous but her smile was beautiful and her eyes were shinning with happiness.

When the groom came to greet his bride, the way they both look at each other is beautiful. The love they have just shows. The groom looks at his bride with a very gentle look where she meant everything to him and he would protect her no matter what.

During her wedding dinner, they have a garden dinner. It was beautiful besides the rain. Throughout the night, the groom starred lovingly at his newly-wed wife. I hope that look he gave her would last till death do they part.

All I can say to conclude this post is I wish them eternal happiness. May their love grows each passing day. May they make plenty of children and have the most exciting adventures together. May God bless them and shower them with His love.

P.S. Going to miss you Merlye. I would try to come visit you in Kuching but I would come at the end of the year or in January. Love you.

Pirates Of The Caribbean - At Worlds End

I'm not a Pirates freak for I never follow the other 2 movies. I only watch the first which I find it not that exciting so I didn't follow on the second one. But I went and watch the third sequence. Weird isn't it?

The one thing that attract me is the trailor for the third. It was very interesting and I was caught. The movie tickets were a hard to get. After one week since it was release, I still have a hard time booking the tickets. Thanks to How's friend, I got to go watch it. It was an amazing movie.

There were exciting plots which amazed me, fighting scenes that was incredible and some lesson learnt in the movie. The storyline for it was rather different and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't want to spoil it for others so I give a rather general synopsis here.

The pirates' world is coming to an end for they would be facing extinction. The English are coorperating with the fierces pirates at sea, The Dutchman, who guide the dead souls in the sea to the other world. In the end the pirates are to fight The Dutchman to be alive. In order to win, they have to bring Jack Sparrow back. What adventures happen in between and how the fights were fought and won, you have to watch it to be amazed.

I can say, I finally know why girls go crazy over Orlando Bloom. I just found how incredible he is. I won't say he is that handsome but his machoness attracts me. I just can't get the picture of him standing on the sails bar with his hair tied back half and bearing his chest with a long V-cut of his shirt. That picture just blow me off my feet ^_^
