Bukit Tinggi Trip

It was a nice weekend where my department organize a trip to Bukit Tinggi. It was a day trip since it was near and we just wanted to go to the Japanese Garden and also to see the rabbits. It was then decided to go on a Saturday after work. As usual I went to work at 7am but I have to wait for an extra 2 hours as Damon finishes at 1pm since he is taking the New Zealand calls. Once it was 1pm, we hit the road to Bukit Tinggi. Our respective drivers were Fauzi in his new BMW 3 series, Emma in a four wheel drive and also Azali in his so-called racing Satria ^_^

 I followed Emma in her car. She is a very fierce driver for a female ^_^ We stop at Bukit Gantang ( I think) rest area to have McDonald's for lunch. Besides that, Azali's friend Roger came and join us on our trip to Bukit Tinggi but I was curious how come he drove himself here. It was once we reach the bottom of Bukit Tinggi where I realize that Azali and Roger were going to race up to see who is the fastest. What went through my mind first is Initial D -_-"

We then leave Azali and Roger at the foot of the hill while Emma and Fauzi continue to drive up first. We have no idea when they would start to drive up the hill. It was nearly the top of the hill that we realize there were speed bumps on the road as there were construction site there. I was then thinking, would Azali and Roger stop in time for the bumps or scratch the bottom of the car as they would be speeding up the hill.

That thought was gone in a flash as I see Fauzi driving over the bumps. His brand new BMW just got its bottom scratch -_-" Let me think back, there were 2 big size guys in the car besides Fauzi who is skinny and Fiona. Those guys were Adi and Damon ^_^ wahahaha...they are huge ^_^ ( Not really but like to tease them a bit here). This continue for the next 3 bumps but when it hit the third bump, Fauzi manage to avoid his car bottom to be scratch.

When we reach the entrance to Bukit Tinggi, we were amaze that Azali and Roger caught up. When we look at the back, we didn't see them and suddenly they are behind us -_-" When I asked them how fast they were going, they told me 160kmph up the hill -_-" That is crazy. Wonder how they did that.

Once up there, we look round but most of the time, we were busy taking pictures. We look at the handicraft shop and also there was an artist scatching a small boy's face. Normally we would not step into the arcade when we are older but we are a bunch of kids as we hit the arcade filled with kids. Some of them started playing and we were stuck there for a while. It was ok as it was also raining that day.

After that, we went and visit the swams where there were white swams and also black swams. They are both at different pond. Damon went to greet the swams but nearly got his hand biten. Hahaha...After that, we went up the tower to look at the view and it was breath taking. I felt so close to nature suddenly. The fresh air and the smell after the rain ^_^ As we were going down from the tower, we took a cool picture. I kinda got angry at first but then love the picture.

 We then walk around the shop there. There was a cool shop where there were Kamasutra picture crave on the wall. Damon and Adi just have to be the joker who goes there and touch the girls breast. Those guys are pure jokers. Joker at work and also at play -_-" We then took some damn cool pictures where no one would guest we are working ^_^ It was fun taking those pictures.

After taking some crazy pictures, we took the bus to the Japanese Garden and walk around there. It was a nice garden where there was a Japanese tea house there where we are thought the art of Japanese tea culture and also to wear the Kimono ^_^ There was also a small hut that look like a small house for us to rest as well. Besides that, there were Tatami massage area in there too. But it was very pricy for one session.

It was close to 6pm when we head back to the car park area. We then did some shoppingbefore heading back. We didn't manage to go to the Rabbit farm as it was already close when we finish walking around the Japanese Garden. We then head home feeling tired but very happy with the trip.

The Hulk

It was just my second week there and they have organize a movie night. It seems that the department would organize some activity once every fort-night. Isn't it cool ^_^ This round, which is also my first outing with the DLinkers, is movie night where we went and watch The Hulk in GSC, Pavillion.

I remember I was in training with Eddie on RMA procedures when Andrew came in and told Eddie that they cannot book movie tickets with Raymond's credit card. I think someone say Raymond cross his limit -_-" So Eddie got to take time off to book the tickets. Unfortunately Eddie didn't have a GSSC account so he has to create an account and with the slow internet connectivity, it was like a long break from training for me ^_^

Once Eddie has register and place the movie to watch and in which cinema, he has to choose the seating and it took him a while as he and Andrew were like planning the seatings. The look on their face as they plan == evil!!! They book one whole row for us and a couple seat for Ramesh and his girlfriend while Eddie sat behind all of us monitoring us -_-" This is like a manager and staff outing where the manager is overlooking us -_-"

One thing I can conclude, where is there a manager who treats you equally and would not use his position on you. Besides that, he is out-going and joke around with everyone in his team ^_^ It is like a saying, "One for all, all for one!" Hehehe... It was a really fun outing as after the movie we went to hunt for food in Pavillion. Eddie was our tour guide to look for food but in the end, we can't find the place and we got lost. It was then everyone vote to go home as it was 10pm. Hahaha...A long day after work where we head off to a movie to unwind. It is really a very nice day and a memoriable first outing with my teammates in my department ^_^

Work Life!!!

It's been a while since I last blog ^_^ At first was busy preparing for my final exam then it was work. It was a week after my finals when I was called for an interview. I didn't even have any time to prepare myself for the interview.

I went up to the office, Datacom for my interview. Before the interview, I was asked to go for 3 different test -_-" which are i. English test, ii. Technical test and iii. Typing test where I'm to type 35 wpm

The english test was ok for me but the technical test about networking left me brain dead. I can't even think what the answers are. After that I was to do the typing test. I was to type for 1 minute and see how fast I can type. I think I did ok (need to be careful as my team leads can be reading this) for I was called for the interview with DLink department. Oh ya, it is a call center ^_^

As I waited to be interview, I was scare. Once called in, I didn't know how to answer the question that was asked as the person who interview me was so slumber. (It seems he has know some background on me) Let's see what he was wearing, a black t-shirt without collar, the Sun Java windbreaker. He was sitting very comfortable on the chair. Oh ya, his name is Raymond Doraisamy. Besides him, I was interviewed by Fiona and also Michelle Chew. 

The interview went well but I was scare that I didn't get the job. I was asked to leave the room as they discuss about it. When I was called back in, Raymond has this serious look that say I'm sorry we are not hiring you. He then tell me how I did for my tests and the tone was like I'm rejecting your application. I was like trying to comfort myself when suddenly he ask me how much pay am I expecting. It was then he start to smile -_-"

This is the weirdest interview I been and the only interview I have been for my first job ^_^ I can't believe I was being bullied on the day I went for my interview. It was later on I found out that Raymond and my other collegues did a google search on me to check out how I look since I didn't attach my picture on my CV. The other collegues who I was aware on who search me are Bobby and Harikumar. Who else I'm not sure. But all my collegues are fun people and it is a joy working with them ^_^
