Shirley has been complaining about her face for the pass I forgot how long ^_^ Finally she I took her to the booth to buy her products. If not, she would go to Guardian and look on her own which product she thinks is right then use it. If there is no improvement, she would start complaining again -_-"
This time, I took her to the beauty counter where the chances of them diagnosing her skin type wrongly is low. I recommend her to use Kose since I'm using it. I have been using Kose for 2 and a half years and it is really affective for my skin and it is at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, there is no Kose in United Kingdom. So we have to look at brands which is sold in United Kingdom. So, Shirley thought of Clinique since her mom uses it.
When we reached Parkson, there was no one attending the Clinique counter. So we walk round and approach other counters. We went to Estee Lauder. Whoa...the price is real high just for 5 facial products. It was bout RM700 for cleanser, toner, lotion, some other thing for the face and for eye bags. We thank the lady and walk to Clinique counter again but no one was there. Since it was closing time and Shirley didn't bring enough money, we decide to return the next day.
The very next day, when we went to the Clinique counter, the salesperson WASN'T there. This is too much. Shirley then ask the information counter on the wherabout of the salesperson for Clinique. The information guy went to look for the salesperson then came back to inform us the person is on the way. At that moment, I saw a GUY running down the escalator. I quicky told Shirley to pray hard that it
isn't a guy who is the salesperson. No offense but I find the guys working at the beauty counter very feminine. I'm a bit jealous for they are more feminine than me.
He then told us that he is having his lunch and he can't leave his lunch half eaten. He say he would come and entertain us once he is done with his lunch. So I head off to the Kose counter to get some products for my face. I have a stubborn pimple which I put COLGATE on and it just dried off but the lump still there. After purchasing my products, we went back to the Clinique counter
where the guy was already there at the booth.
He asked Shirley some questions to know her skin type. When he asked to see her face's pore size, he told Shirley not to be shy bout it and let him have a look and judge himself the size of her face's pores. He then cried out loud that Shirley has big pores. Shirley jump in shocked. Then he told Shirley that what he meant by big is medium. He then explain that big pores is like the moons surface where you can see from far.
After telling Shirley her skin type and the products to use, he wanted to recommend a hydration cream to keep her skin hydrated throughout the day. He then put some on Shirley's hand and wanted to put some for me but I declined. I'm already using Kose and I have no intention to change product. The other reason I decline was I fear he would rub the cream on my hand for me. This actually turn out true when he rub the cream on Shirley's hand even after she has rub all the cream on the hand. Hahaha...You should have seen Shirley's face ^_^
Once she has choosen her products which consist of mask, cleanser, anti-blemish, toner, lotion gel and eye's cream, the total was RM558. If she was to take the hydration cream also, it would cost a total of
RM650++. Whoa! I wonder who told her that the whole product is Rm150??? But the guy was kind. To keep customers happy after buying such expensive stuff, he gave her a free travel set, a bag, t-shirt and sample of the hydration cream for her to use.
Shirley felt a rip through her heart when she paid for the items. She was so excited to go home to use them to see results. Unfortunately, when she opened the anti-blemish package, the bottle was EMPTY. How can this happen??? What left for her to do now is to call the guy and get a replacement for it. I do hope she manage to get it today ^_^
