MidValley

Of all days my aunt asked me to go to MidValley to shop. This is because my cousin Janet needs to get something for her oral presentation and my aunt decide to take her to Metrojaya to shop. Don't ask me why must it be Metrojaya

I left my house and head off to MidValley. It was a clear traffic on Federal Highway but suddenly the jam starts at MidValley. I was shocked on how heavy the traffic there is to enter MidValley. There are so many cars wanting to go into the car park but the car park is already full. The only one that I saw available was the Premier car park in Gardens. Oh my! How am I to get to that car park?

It seems that I have to drive on big round around MidValley and pass the entrance of Gardens Hotel and the Shopping Mall to go up Premier car park. Just to go one round it took nearly half an hour. This is nuts. What I fear then was the availability of parking space -_-" What a nice way to start your shopping day. But I was in luck as when I head up, there was a parking space next to the entrance waiting for me ^_^ Yes! That cancel off my frustration a bit after being stuck in the jam to get into MidValley.

Once I got in, I went and look for my aunt and cousin who was already in the shopping mall. I head off to MPH to meet them as they were shopping in there. The shopping mall was pack as usual but I was surprise as half of MidValley was in darkness while there was light at the other half. This seems weird. After MPH we head to Metrojaya where my cousin had pick her blouse but my aunty complain that it is the wrong size.

I didn't bother to believe my aunt as she is bad in looking. She would match the latest trend on us but not think if it is suitable or comfortable to us -_-" I asked my cousin to try it on again and to my surprise, it fits her well but I do not understand how come my aunt wants a smaller size for her -_-" Then she told me the trend is body hugging tops -_-" If my aunt had gotten a smaller size for Janet, I fear it might pop when she is doing her presentation. The only lose part was the lower part of the top. The other parts just fit her nicely. In other words, Janet is thin but taller and slightly build ^_^

Once we are done with the top, we head to check out the shoes. Unfortunately, Janet doesn't know how to wear heels as she can lose her balance so there are only limited choices. Since time was running out and Justin, my other cousin, was hungry, we forgo the shoes for next round and head off for food. It was then that the electricity went back to normal for the other half of MidValley. Whoa!!! I do wonder what happen that causes the electricity failure in half of the building.

It took us a while before we went to Yo Sushi as we decided on Japanese food. At first we wanted to go to Oh Sushi but my cousin say it was too pricy. Unfortunately Janet is comparing the price of sushi in Philiphines and in Malaysia. She told me that in Philiphines, one slice of Salmon cost RM1 -_-" No wonder she complain the price here is pricy. Yo Sushi is situated at the new renovated corridor heading to Gardens. The place looks attractive at the outside which attract us to go in.

We then sat down and the menu was given to us. The variety was limited. Even those sushi going on the conveyor belt was limited. The same things kept coming. The prices are all transparent as everything you order comes in that particular colour coded plate. I can say we are damn crazy as we have all 6 colour plate. It starts with the green plate at RM3, the blue plate at RM5 then purple plate at RM8 while the orange plate at RM10. RM14 plate is pink in colour and the grey plate is RM16.

First we order 3 cups of green tea and a sprite as Justin do not know how to drink green tea. Then we look at the menu and started to order some stuff like Teriyaki Chicken and Salmon followed by Chicken Katsu Curry rice. My aunt then order a Cawamushi for Justin for him to try. I then ordered Miso Soup as it is RM5.50 unlimited which means when we finish one bowl, we can ask for the refill ^_^ I think I ask for 5-6 times refill as we share the soup and the soup was nice.

Once we finish placing our order, it was time to attack the conveyor belt for food. We first took Salmon Nigiri, then Tamago Nigiri. Justin love the Salmon Nigiri that he took 2 plates. Then I saw the "Fu Chuk" Nigiri and took that one. Justin took another plate as it was delicious. I can't blame him as it is his first time eating Japanese food. Then Janet who can't help it took a Salmon Sashimi. Wow!!! I then took Chicken and Prawn Gyoza. While waiting for the food that was ordered to arrive, I took a plate of Crunchy Tofu but it wasn't that fantastic. To even out the taste of dislike on the tofu, I took another plate of Chicken Gyoza.

Then the food we order slowly arrive one by one. Whoa!!! It was a very filling meal and also pain to the wallet. As desert, Justin took 2 plates of Mochi. It seems he has them at home but he didn't eat them but seems to eat the one outside -_-" Lucky me I was not asked to pay for the bill. My aunt paid for the meal which came to a total of RM190. Unbelievable right? But overall, the presentation was good but I do not find any attraction to go back there to eat. I can actually get some of their helping for the same price and 4 times bigger in serving. But it was a good experience in Yo Sushi. I'll give is 6 out of a 10 scale.

After lunch we call it a day as my aunt need to catch a bus back to Penang to work. So we went home after the meal ^_^
